Why you're Not Getting The Results You Want And What To Do About It!
The #1 reason you're not making progress after every workout is because you are training incorrectly. I have never seen a new client perform all their exercises 100% correctly — not even advanced bodybuilders or fitness models (and not even other personal trainers that I train!) Incorrect form ROBS you of the results you could be getting with the same amount of time invested in the gym. It's worse than you think: Poor form doesn't just make an exercise 10% or 20% less effective, it can make an exercise almost worthless, and you could be wasting your time completely if you don't know what you're doing.
There are hundreds of ways to "tweak" your form and technique, which may appear subtle, but can produce massive increases in your results. You will never discover these techniques on your own, and even if someone else taught them to you, without a trainer to look over your shoulder to coach and motivate you, your form will usually slip and deteriorate over time, because it's human nature to seek the path of least resistance (which is the path of least results).
The #2 reason you're not getting the results you want is because you're not putting enough variety into your workouts. When you train with me, you will almost never repeat the same workout twice. This keeps your muscles from adapting to the same routine, and is one of the reasons I have a reputation for getting continuous results for my clients without plateaus. The variety will also keep things fun and interesting and prevent you from getting bored.
The #3 reason you're not making progress is because you're not providing the proper nutritional support for your workouts. You could follow my workout routines to a T, push yourself to your limits and never miss a single session, but when you leave the gym, if you head straight to the ice cream and pizza parlor and then cap off your evenings at the bar, you will SABOTAGE yourself and literally undo everything you've just done in the gym!
Many personal trainers do not have the knowledge, experience or qualifications to provide you with nutritional advice. However, no one can dispute that your diet is at least 50% of your results, and may be as much as 70% or 80% of your results when you need to get very lean, very fast. Nutrition is critical! When you combine my training methods with my nutritional guidance, the results can be nothing short of mind-blowing!

Although I have extensive experience in strength training (I'm a former North American Bench Press Champion), flexibility training and martial arts conditioning (I have black belts in Shotokan Karate and Aiku-Jui Jitsu), I am one of the few trainers in the world who specializes in "cosmetic" physique training.
"Cosmetic training" means that I can help you change the way your body looks with incredible speed by burning off body fat and building up lean muscle tissue in the exact places necessary in order to sculpt and shape your body for maximum visual impact.
For example, by reducing the size of your hips and waist and building up a certain portion of your deltoids, upper back muscles and parts of your thighs, I can totally change your appearance — in clothes and out of them — even if your body weight stays exactly the same. Many trainers specialize in strength training and sports conditioning, but they don't understand the art of "cosmetic training" — and it IS an art! If your goal is body-building, body-shaping, slimming or fat loss, then athletic training workouts (including much of the new "core training" fads), will often leave you very disappointed. Although you may become stronger, more "functional" and more fit, your appearance probably won't change that much.
